Hummus - Recipe #78

Ingredients:
3 C freshly cooked or canned chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
3 medium cloves garlic
1 1/2 tsp salt (Spike or Mrs Dash or blend of your favorites)
2 medium lemons, juiced
1/4 C chopped fresh parsley or 1/8 C dried parsley
1/4 C chopped scallions or leeks or my favorite ~ RED onion
3/4 C tahini (sesame butter)
Directions:
Blend all ingredients, except tahini, in blender or food processor (which I like best because of the resulting texture).
Add water as needed, to form a thick paste.
Put in a bowl, stir in tahini or if your food processor is big enough just add in there and pulse until blended. Chill.
